June 15 (Sunday): Everyone arrived!
June 19 (Thursday): Rachel talked on Spanning Tree Congestion in Graphs, based on her work last summer at San Bernadino REU.
June 22 (Sunday): Anchor Bar lunch
June 24 (Tuesday): Steve Shanuel talked on Objective Number Theory and the Category of Graphs.
June 26 (Thursday): Group photo and the first round of our weekly group presentations in the morning. Remember to look snazzy!
July 3: Howard Skogman talked on Galois covers of graphs.
July 15 (Tuesday): Trip to the Hauptman-Woodward lab and the New York Center of Excellence for talks on bioinformatics.
July 16 (Wednesday): Travel reimbursement day. Remember to bring your flight/gas/toll receipts.
July 20 (Sunday): Trip to Goat Island on Niagara Falls to visit the statue of Nicola Tesla, and also to see a waterfall.
July 31-August 2: MathFest 2008, Madison, WI [1] (http://www.register123.com/event/profile/form/index.cfm?PKformID=0x462708ff51). We gave our presentations on Thursday and attended talks on Friday.
August 7: Thursday morning at the zoo, with elephants!
August 8 (Friday): Final day of REU. Thanks, Terry and BJ!
